mcruppert 300 Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) Hey guys Im using the Arma2 tools now for longer time and had no problems with it (on this pc :D) but now i patched my ARMA2 with the new offical ARMA2 1.05 patch the game runs normaly without any problems but if i try to load the buldozer in Oxygen2 i get this error: Shaders not valid (mismatch of exe and data?) i found some threads for ARMA1, there was the same problem and you had to unpbo your ARMA1 bin and copy/overwrite the files into your p:/bin direction to fix it so i tried it with the ARMA2 bin.pbo but still the same error so please help me thx Edited December 30, 2009 by McRuppert
Planck 1 Posted December 30, 2009 The bin folder in your p: drive needs to be changed for the new one that came with 1.05. Planck
mcruppert 300 Posted January 1, 2010 ok i did exacly what you said to me i unpack my ARMA2\Dta\bin.pbo and i copied to my p:\bin folder files: -$PBOPREFIX$ -config.bin -Shaders_DefPP.shdc -Shaders_DefPS.shdc -Shaders_DefVS.shdc -ShadersPP.shdc -ShadersPS.shdc -ShadersVS.shdc i also copied the product.bin form ARMA2/Dta to p:/Dta if i try to start buldozer now i get this error: Error compiling pixel shader PSSSSMSpecularAlpha:
[aps]gnat 28 Posted January 2, 2010 Not all that relevant, but may work as a last resort. I installed the Tool Suite after I did the 1.05 patch and didn't get any problems.
hsvmann78 10 Posted January 2, 2010 Just wondering, but why did you unpack and copy product.bin?
mcruppert 300 Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) i just copied it.... Planck gave me this tipp but wasnt sure about that too i need help, i have to finish my addons... Edited January 3, 2010 by McRuppert
hsvmann78 10 Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) Under file > Options > External Viewer Is your path to P:\ Buldozer or to C:\ or wherever your arma2.exe resides. I also found copying unpbo bin files from one location to another may corrupt them. I copied bin.pbo from Arma 2\Dta then paste in P:\ and unpack there. mcruppert 300 Posted January 4, 2010 this is my path: "p:\buldozer.exe" -window -buldozer -noland
Planck 1 Posted January 4, 2010 You only need to change to the bin.pbo contents from 1.05 if you are using the arma2.exe from 1.05 as buldozer. In short, the bin.pbo contents must match or have come with the version of the arma2.exe you are using, otherwise you get a mismatch. If you are using the arma2.exe that came with the tools drive then use the bin folder that came with it also. Planck
mcruppert 300 Posted January 6, 2010 ok i got the buldozer now working again i just reinstalled the oxigen tool thx for you help
Gunner1241 10 Posted February 3, 2010 is there away we can get a update to fix this problem because i did what you said and there still a problem i still can view the buldozer for some reason
Bartchie 10 Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) Yeah I have the same problem. I use arma2.exe with -buldozer command and I have bin.pbo unpacket to Bin folder in p: drive and I still get error "Shaders mismatch bla bla bla" So what the hell could be happening ? I'm trying to view (in buldozer) one of the BI sample models (A10). But is that A10 from ArmA1 or ArmA2 ? Because if it's from ArmA1 then it's normal that the shaders are being mismatched. Are there any sample models from ArmA2 only ? EDIT: Now I know what was the problem - I tried to view A10 BI sample model from ArmA1 in ArmA2 buldozer mode. Old ArmA1 A10 .rvmat files have another shader settings so that's why buldozer won't show up. So be careful with your .rvmat files - it's important to set them up properly, otherwise buldozer may have some problems with running.
