Tankbuster 1746 Posted November 26, 2009 I've been asked to help out on a server to run a big game in the coming months, aimed mostly at players who may not have played or even installed the game before. I know that most of us experienced users don't like installers because we like to manage our addons ourselves, but the majority of my users won't know or want to learn how to do this, so I need an addon installer package. You know the thing, double click an application and it goes away, creates an @addons/addons directory, dumps pbo and bisigns in it, modifys the desktop shortcut and also makes a userconfig folder and puts hpp files in there. And yes, I'm well aware of Yomas addon sync thingy. I tried it in the past and the server side stuff was too complex for me. I love his work as a rule, but this isn't for me. Any suggestions?
