I was wondering if anyone knows if mods work in the demo version of the game. I have tried but the view mods I have tried all have failed. MadPro119 10 Posted November 22, 2009 (edited) Oh, that could explain it, I DL a Plane wich is not a avilibale in the demo. Also on Armaholic.com with the downloads it says a version number. Can you run a mod with a lower version number, and just not a higher one. Or does it have to be your exact version? Inkompetent 0 Posted November 22, 2009 I'm not sure how Armaholic decides that, really. Some addons *do* need a certain version number or higher due to using script commands not previously available. MadPro119 10 Posted November 22, 2009 While trying to add the modfoler to the shortcut I get this error. It tells me i can not add it whenever I hit Apply or Ok. andersson 285 Posted November 22, 2009 It wont work. The demo uses some decryption so as no mods have that they will not be recognised as valid. Same thing if you change an addon in the demo, or a mission, it will not fit with the bisign and the demo will not work. I guess its made that way so people must buy the full version to get all the good stuff, else we could mod up the demo all the way and there would be no reason to buy the game..
