Well, the other one was in 468x60 format....I think this is what he wanted to say...well anyway, I have buy them and i'm waiting for them to arrive!! tounge.gifsmile.gif

According to this thread they do, so perhaps the problem is with your friend's use of them?

Might be. But they work with half-life :/

Anyway... He said they were fun the first week... after that he prefered playing with monitor due to several reason....

fx when he sniped in cs.. he had to close one eye :/

Nope.. The first thing you learn when shooting with optics is that you keep *both* eyes open. You use the left eye for distance estimation. It is a bit tricky at first, but one can learn it pretty fast.

Distance estimation requires both eyes to be open, otherwise you will have no depth perception.

After that, if you are shooting using optics that have any appreciable amount of magnification, you should close your non-dominant eye. If you are using a low-magnification or non-telescopic sight, it is indeed best to keep both eyes open -- it is a principle exploited by the Bindon Aiming Concept used by Trijicon and a host of other sight vendors.

really? I did not know that, I was thinking that sniper use the left eye to get a quick look of the area and then close it to be able to take a clean shot
