Anyways, Bono, Try raising the view distance in singleplayer and see if it introduces the same mouse jitter. In multiplayer the server sets the view distance so that may be the problem.

I think I know the jitter you're talking about as I get it in the menu when I load Namalsk Island, but don't get it in game. I think that's because it has a lot of detail to load and in the menu it shows a large view distance (that my com can't handle well, old piece of junk) so the mouse starts jittering.

I tried that. No change even if I set view distance to 1 and all settings to absolute LOW. However I found something different. Here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=89351

Because i have a RamDisk to play Arma 2 smoothly.

Now i have this problem,:eek::eek::eek:

It's horrible.I don't know what I do...

I quit the game by pressing ALT + TAB, and return,to play in good condition...

Why?

My above quote is rather simple to understand (well at least i think it is) i will attempt to make it even easier .

I S-M FULLY BELIEVE THAT IF ANYBODY TRYS TO TELL THE ORIGINAL POSTER THAT HIS CPU IS FAAAAAR TOOOOOO CRAP FOR THIS GAME, THEN THEY ARE A GIMP, IN FACT THEY ARE WORSE THEN A GIMP, THEY ARE A STUPID GIMP AS THEY CAN NOT READ PROPERLY :D

Now i have already given my rather valid reasons as to why i would say the above, mainly due to the cpu being better then the recommended specs (and i could post others, but what's the point when i don't have pictures to explain things to the special folk ), but that seams to have been overlooked yet again (maybe i did not add enough pictures to the posts for the special folk to understand) :D

With each new patch that comes out, more of the broken parts are being fixed, they don't just patch the game to add new features don't cha know ;)

The current Beta patch seams to have fixed one of the major flaws in the game which was the horrible stuttering (one of my major complaints to be honest)

Maybe they should not have fixed the stuttering, as there was nothing wrong with it before hand according to some :rolleyes:

Maybe the OP should try the current beta, he may find his "underpowered" cpu is more then capable of running this game now ;)

I must've missed something, I didn't see anyone say his CPU wasn't good enough, but then again, I'm too lazy to read the whole thread again.
