Dislocated Animations?

Recommended Posts

A mate and I are working on a new infantry addon for ArmA2 and we have hit a wall. If we try to get one of our soldiers to use a weapon that has any of the new weapons animations, say for example an M4A1 with M203, the soldiers left arm gets all twisted and deformed plus certain parts of the soldier model appear to relocate themselves. I have a few screenshots that i may upload later if anyone knows anything about this problem or finds it familiar. The new soldier addon has taken all the important detail bits from the new sample model so in theory it should work...

Any help would be appreciated :)

I don't know about Arma2 animations, but that twisting happening in 3D-programs when you animating hand too straight or palm bone is rotated wrong position.

I am considering a public release, but I am not entirely sure if I want to go down that road just yet.

Cheers for the info.
