Smurf 12 Posted October 7, 2009 As the title says... Other day I was playing Op. Firefly v1.00 with a group of friends. Everthing was going well until some other player connected as a JIP, and after a while, disconnected. The AI turned into some unresponsive bricks. Until we shoot them, they were just stopped, ignoring our precense. After the shooting, they just runaway, not as usual "run for cover", just run. Same thing with a mission I was editing, everything cool until someone else connected. Is that a know issue? It has to do with the MP Framework + JIPCompatilibe or what? Thanks for the attention. no use for a name 0 Posted October 9, 2009 the only time I've seen the ai not respond when someone connects and they choose that slot, then while they're loading the ai will just stand there and wait. A2 "vanilla" in every aspect. And the unresponsive was something like, we ran over 2 ou 3 soldiers that were standing in the middle of the road, after that, their group did nothing, not even looked at us. Smurf 12 Posted October 11, 2009 I re-edited my whole mission, trying to iron out any bug or error. Tested it again and the AI still have some strange behavior. An exemple, the first objective, clean a city, me and my friend had to search in evey corner for the remaining enemy to active the trigger (OPFOR, Not Present). He was lying around some trees hiding, while he should be figthing. We ran near him sometimes and he did nothing.... Same thing with some Vodnicks, we shoot'em and they did nothing. Anyway, someone would be gentle to see if Im doing something wrong in the mission, even thinkin thats somekind of conflict between JIPs an AI? http://rapidshare.com/files/291347336/CO15-Op.Primeiro_Passo-v1.5.Chernarus.pbo.html It is all in portuguese, but the objectives are simples.
