VXR 9 Posted September 28, 2009 Anyone know how I can set Arma 2 so that when I start the game it goes straight to the menu? Open the properties of your Arma2 shortcut, at the end of the targetline put: -nosplash If you start Arma 2 with the shortcut the splashscreens are gone. rabs 10 Posted September 28, 2009 Add -nosplash at the end of your desktop shortcut properties If I recall.
neokika 62 Posted September 28, 2009 In your Arma 2 shortcup, go to properties and add the lines -nosplash -world=empty
Thirdup 0 Posted September 28, 2009 Some of the ArmA launchers also allow you to use the various startup commands at launch.
BOTA:16 0 Posted September 28, 2009 You probably won't be saving much time as during the splash screen the game engine is loading. Your game engine will still need to be loaded regardless if you have the splash screens.
Alex72 1 Posted September 28, 2009 Not true. Its much faster without the splash screens.

Master gamawa 0 Posted September 29, 2009 Depends on your PC (and if you use -world=empty) :) Yeah I use world=empty too but then I fire up my editor and I load the world for real.
