Can i just download and install 1.3 or do i have to go through all the patches first?

Also after installing the game i get CFG.world.East/West/Civilian errors.

I cant preview my missions because of this.

Anyway to fix this?

what patch have you installed and do you have the steam version? - stickies might help you aswell ;)

Just did a fresh install.

I tried applying the 1.3 patch but got errors on like every file that it was replaceing.

Same thing with 1.2. This is ***. :(

If you have the steam version, do not manually patch it! just do a fresh install, and start over.

i think that you can go straight to 1.03, as i reinstalled and went from the 505 version (1.01) right to 1.03 and have had no troubles

Here's something to remember... after you install a version with STEAM. Copy it off to DVD. It's just a straight copy, but takes a while. Then patch. If the patch blows up, just copy the originals you had on DVD back into the steamapps/common/arma2 directory and try again.

I copied my originals off, then patched, then copied those off to another DVD, so anytime, I can go back to whatever version I want.

I DO NOT have the steam version.

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times now.

Keep getting the CFG.World/East and West errors.

When i try to update by patches i get errors. Come on now? :mad:

Ok, some possible causes:

1./ Your game files are damaged.

2./ Your game copy is counterfeit. (i.e. not original)

Maybe downloading the patch again from another source ... might be corrupt?
