shadowfire 10 Posted August 10, 2009 Hias, I have now spent half my weekend trying to figure out how to capture Lopotev on the Island. When I get there I kill the guards in the surroundings and he surrenders, but nothing more happens. I get no mission complete or such, no extraction and no alternative via radio. We just sit there and could play backgammon forever. I went to the certain place on my own. Is that the prob? dlegion 98 Posted August 11, 2009 hem....i reverted 10 times now....from a save where i was in the town on the coast, and all times act same way: i kill all the friends of lopotev, and when i approach he starts to run like a mad, then ho go swimming in coast direction! help! thanks! Hmmm... Do you have rest of the Razor team with you on the island ? When i played this mission everytime Lopotev surrendered and didn't move at all. I just aproached him and then the scripted dialog started where you yell to him. The part what was bugged in my game was the extraction chopper not coming after Lopotev surrenders. Assault the island with all your team members with you. I think they are the ones that actually disarm Lopotev. Then you can confront him when he drops weapons. CarlGustaffa 4 Posted August 11, 2009 Here is how it worked out for me: 1. I bought a Hind and went there with all of Razor. 2. Cleared the area and went for Lopotev. 3. Killed his guard, Lopotev would open fire. 4. Hid and went for another approach to Lopotev. 5. Shot him in the foot and he surrendered (put his weapon down, scripted). 6. We were told to get to the extraction point. What extration point? Nothing showed up. 7. Suddenly, Lopotev, another Razor member, and myself was beamed onto a chopper. The other two Razors were left behind. 8. After reaching the base (2 man short) we drive the truck to the meeting point. 9. The intro shootout with all the Razor team, everyone with guns. 10. Now suddenly the two Razors left behind are teleported onto the brigde. In swimming animation. Meaning they drop their weapons. I'm now trying to defend myself and another Razor member, pluss two members without guns. What a nightmare. (nah, not that hard :)) 11. Lopotev enters the russian truck, which just sits there forever after the fighting is done. Then he decides to leave. We can not do anything but watch. 12. Due to bug in shopping system, we have to walk 'all the way' down to the base. 13. Dealing with the russians is the only thing left. Not sure what to do next. Assaulting their base doesn't sound like a 'political approach' :) 14. Time is now 0800 the next day :D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

jakerod 254 Posted August 12, 2009 How to Deal with the Russians: Once you kill the spetsnaz at the bridge the Russian Intel officer should get out of the truck you drove and move to where Karin's(?) body is and then call you over. He never got a shot off at me. I threw a grenade into a group of them and killed them all. Lopo didn't die he got wounded and I had to heal him. So maybe try killing him and then healing him.
