Big Dawg KS 6 Posted July 30, 2009 Technically, if you were able to place say another missile at the exact same world position at the same time, there is a chance they would detinate eachother. Well, at least we used to use this trick way back in OFP to detinate stuff in the air (colliding two missiles/projectiles at extremely high speeds), dunno if it still works in ArmA 2. I was using the AA gun in the demo. When the chopper comes in and trys to take it out. Does not care that I am sitting in it :) I've finally learned how to take the chopper out about 1/3 of the time... Got to make lots of dust and smoke so that he does not come straight in but curves around to the left. Then I 've got a good chance to drop him. But if he gets a missle off I'm dead. I don't think they are shootable. (sometimes we are both dead) As for the birds mentioned... only in FarCry. (Tho I have not actually tried to hurt the birds) There are even some trees I can shoot out of my way and others can not be harmed. Thanks, jmc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Its not fully unrealistic especially against missiles that you can track or somekind of slow cruising missiles. But missiles fired from helicopters like Hellfires or Vikhrs are usually bit too fast and close to shoot them down. With Guess with Mandobles Missile Script you could destroy any incoming missile.
