you have checked your controls to see if anything is reversed right? :D

as soon as i get in any vehicle its always on the back button, aircraft its pulling back, ground vehicles always in reverse. When i push forward to go forward they cancel each other out and just stop.

Unplug your joystick or steering wheel and then try again. I bet that wouldn't happen with no controllers plugged into the PC.

same problem here using the keyboard. whenever i get in a car, truck or plane it always in reverse gear without me actually pressing any keys on the keyboard. i found only way to remain stationary is to hold both the w and the s key down at the same time. or just simply change seats so i can goto the map without worrying about the car reversing and ending up getting a tree stuck up my arse.

To test it why dont you assign that key to a key for say "map" and then see if the map keeps showing up, or assign that back key to another key ans see if it then happens, to diagnose your keyboard of course.

Remove all controllers too obviously and think why it would suddenly happen, what have you installed in that time.

Maybe start Arma with a fresh profile and then test that, could be messed up config.

Is it happening in campaign only? If so, it might a corrupt bugged save.

hmm, dunno if this helps but If say I have been flying a chopper with my saitek joystick and I get shot down..when I respawn if I have left my 'thrust' forward my ingame soldier just spins round and round.

check it's not conflicting controls and if you have a joystick, check that too.
