th3flyboy 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Hello, If you are looking for a tournament to join that emphasises balance and having a mod that works with minimal lag or errors, may I suggest ATOW. ATOW is a tournament that takes place on sundays, at 1700 GMT. The tournament is preparing for Campaign 4, our first campaign with ArmA 2. As such, we are currently planning out the format. Until then, you are more than welcome to join our community at www.arma-tow.com and chill with us until the tournament starts. If you like what you see with how we operate, feel free to join up full on. We play PVP campaigns on a two tour setup for control over points on the map. As time progresses, we gain resources from those points, which allows us to buy vehicles. Each piece of gear costs resources, and as such, they won't respawn after dying unless bought again. First we will be conducting an ArmA2 Beta campaign to thoroughly test our map, weapons balance and a new resource system. We are currently performing a player draft, allowing all (new and veteran) soldiers to select the army and equipment of their choice. So if you're new to the game, or looking for an organized way to play ArmA2, this is the time to jump in! Its an exciting time over at AToW. Now is the time to sign up and check us out. Benefits to playing at Theatre of War: Master a Skill - Dont be limited to just infantry. Sign up in the Armor divisions or the Air Wing and support the ground pounders! Now its the right opportunity to sign in, get to know your teammates, train up and be ready to get some! Battledays Sunday 1700Z, see web-site and forums http://www.arma-tow.com and web-site for further information. Co-op team play on a large battlefield environment using combined arms. Arma-style realism and Fun, in one neat package. Warm up, and coin-toss on Sunday 11th October, first full battle on Sunday 18 October, so there is still time to sign up. Enrolement open to individuals and groups, where possible we will attempt to place groups together but this is not always possible.
