Fenix16 0 Posted July 1, 2009 Seems to be the bane of my existence. i7 920 @ 3.8 ghz, gtx 295, 6 gigs of ram, vista 64. From my rpt: "Memory store: Failed mapping, already mapped 2532 KB, error 8 Virtual free 27140096 B, page free -1 B, physical free -1501859840 B" Repeats in my rpt incrementally until the amount "already mapped" hits 4240. I get a CTD yet the process arma2.exe remains active and continues to use the same amount of system resources. Anybody else experiencing this?
charlis 2 Posted October 31, 2009 Me too. It CTD but arma2.exe *32 remains active in process tab. Happening all the time. Have to kill it than restart. i7 920 @ 2.67 ghz, gtx 275, 6 gigs of ram, Win 7 - x64. I´ll check later the .rpt file, which I know what means but not how to do it. -=JackHorner=- 10 Posted October 31, 2009 are you sure that you overclocked your 920 proc correctly? Have you tried arma with your proc set to stock speed and default mobo settings?
oktane 0 Posted October 31, 2009 I got this a lot last week. Then I set my swapfile to a different drive and it subsided. It could have just been the act of resetting the swap file to 'windows recommended size' which helped. If you notice, it says swap -1 B which means no space! :D Could be a bug or something. oktane 0 Posted November 1, 2009 this has to do with RAM/Swapfile mate, not video card or video memory.
