Sabrefox 0 Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) Although I applaud you for a great game and your community relationship and prompt updates, could you please see fit to tweak the C-130J's turning circle on the ground? For as it is now, it is nigh on impossible to steer this aircraft on the taxiways or line up on the runway for take off without having to take a detour through the countryside. This makes such a great addition to Arma II, almost useless. Especially when considering the potential it has in community made single player and multiplayer missions. Thanks again, much respect. Edit: I see this issue has been mentioned, sorry. Edited June 30, 2009 by Sabrefox
wobbly 10 Posted June 30, 2009 In reality the C130J has a good turning circle and if developers need to know the exact degree of movement that the nose wheel has then I will get it for you no probs. frederf 0 Posted June 30, 2009 There should be a coefficient for yaw authority for ground vs air and it seems like they didn't get it right.
Bravo0246 0 Posted June 30, 2009 Has the C130J always been like this in ArmA II, i don't remember it being so bad in version 1.00 or 1.01, or maybe i just didn't test it enough can't remember. But yeah, now it's horrible.

krazypoloc 10 Posted June 30, 2009 Too bad they just have the slick model and not the spooky or spectre. That would be off the chain!!
Sabrefox 0 Posted June 30, 2009 Yeah the AC-130 Spectre would have been great, maybe they will add it later, and if not, maybe a talented modder will answer our prayers. :)
frederf 0 Posted June 30, 2009 The C-130 is definately from the T/O for an actual MEU, down to the LHD-9 Khe Sahn. BIS did their homework, if not without a few goofs.
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted June 30, 2009 If the turning rate is still as bad as the aircav video Xeno made, then yeah, please change it to something useful. I don't need and I don't want a Spectre though in the default game, if I had to choose between that and a regular 130.
Damack 10 Posted June 30, 2009 The Ac130 would be great...... I had an Idea about it... The targeting of the AH-17 with limited movement up and down in all directions only about 5 degrees so that the piolt must roll the air craft on it's side to be able to shoot down to the ground... Second... The cannon for the A-10 and the Howitzer both out the side... Just an idea.. Not sure if it's even possible to be done.. Who knows...

HOPEnSPIRIT 10 Posted July 1, 2009 I saw an air show on youtube and they reversed the engines and went backwards on the runway, ArmA 2 does not do this :( Also they were able to take off only using half the runway, which in ArmA 2 you need the whole runway.
