Playing the single mission "Bear Rising", I find I am completely lost.

Why am I getting money for shooting bad guys?

Why is it when I request units I am not acknowledged?

If money is for spending on new units, how do I go about it? How will I know when I have enough?

What do I do with the Mobile HQ? Why do I need to "lock it" ?

How can I repair my tanks, there is a utility truck there but it doesn't seem to be capable of repair work.

Why is this game so poorly documented? The manual doesn't even mention this game type.

I haven't played this game type before - I told you, I gave ArmA 1 a miss completely - so if anyone can help out....

ok, what about the small icons that show on the right of the screen? small wrench icon and other stuff? are these accessible and how?

This mission is just a warefare mission.

There are some informations about it in the little book wich came with the dvd.

And tere are some training missions for it.

For rising the bear you have only to take all cities (and destroy the enemy main base makes it easier).

Answers:

1. Using the money, you can buy new units, base defenses etc.

2. By requesting new units you buy yourself new gear beloning to that unit.

3. In the menu where you buy the units or weapon (just click above unit selection) you can see on the bottum right side your current amount.

4. By locking the mobile HQ only you can get in, you can use the mobile HQ to drive to a spot and build base defences near that spot.

5. Sry didn't figuerd that one out, but it will cost you allotta money to do so.

6. Some answers are in the documentation, some are in the training missions.

4 - Sometimes it doesn't follow you or doesn't arrive at the city you're capturing and how to lock it?

shoot i thought i covered the manual and the training missions, i'll go back and redo them one more time.

Yes you can buy units, some times it takes a while to recieve the data, and at some points you can't buy every thing i guess.

Never had it follow me there, some missions you can drive it arround yourself, some it's just there and i wasn't able to use it.
