Sorry mate, was not aimed at you.

First LZ I think you got hit by an Igla rocket, as you took off from the LZ, certainly the sound and suddenness indicated that. Guessing the mission maker had a setpos Guarded By OPFOR trigger to draw the the AI anti air soldiers to the LZ. I mentioned it in another post. As acting Battle Commander I should have detailed a security team for the LZ My Bad :( but as I say its new trick, I was not expecting it until after I saw it.

The AFV I was talking about was about 10 m from me,and it killed half the squad I was with, and had been pooning everyone coming out of the other LZ down the hill as well as the initial gun group to the west. I actually disabled it with an MG 240 from a defilade position. I was next to a Rasta House on a down-slope. The angle down-slope meant and the fact it was side was such that it could not bring its weapon to bear on me as long as I was crawling between the two houses and did not retreat so I had defilade, realizing it I shot up his tyres in between dodging back and forth as he tried to maneuver to get his gun to bear. I used up a couple of 100 rdn mags on his wheels then the driver got out and I had one of those desperate reload moments. I killed the driver but I think the commander/gunner was still inside as the turret was still rotating trying to get a bearing so I shot up the turret with the MG 240 which can pierce light armor especially at 10 m. The turret stopped moving which is when you hear me say the BTR Crew are out, so I reloaded and went round the other side of the rasta house where final crew member surprised me by popping up out of the long grass and killing my not careful ass. That is why I think I ended up in the same copter or the one just behind you at the respawn.

Was not you who I saw jump out. I was at the door and saw some one jump out about 5 m above the ground on the left hand side. I think they were freaked in the desync and were worried about a crash, I have got to admit my finger was hovering over eject button then as well. When you actually see a desync crash, you have perhaps 2 seconds to jump and run like heck before the explosion catches up with you.

No problem, bro! You did your job very well, all the time. It's not the compliment, but fact. Nice supervising, without any jokes, you're really nice FAC and BC.
