Help - Need Step by Step to Getting SLi to Work

Not good with computers, just like playing.

2 Questions:

1. How do i know if my SLi is working, where do i look?

2. If it's not, how do i get it to work without buggering up my System?

I have Vista 64

I7920 @ 3.7ghz

2 x 285's in SLi

6 Gig Ram

Yell out if you get it working because I cant.

Vista 64, i7 920 at 3.7GHz, GTX 295, 6 gig Ram, Lastest drivers

1. rename arma2.exe file to crysis.exe, crysis64.exe, fear.exe or arma.exe.

2. run with -winxp command in your startup line

To see if SLI is working go into nvidia control panel and look along the top menu for "3D Setting", and select "Show SLI Visual Indicators". Now when you load a game that is set to use SLI you will see a green bar on the left of the screen moving up and down showing how much SLI is working. The bigger the bars, the harder SLI is working.

For me the -winxp switch did nowt. Crysis is what got it working for me. (2x9800gtx/VistaU64)

I advise you also runs Fraps when your doing your testing.

the winxp is a command line switch, just add it to the end of your shortuct's .exe (should look something like this: "c:\arma2\crysis.exe" -nosplash -winxp )

FRAPS is a program that lets you take screenshots and videos in your games. It also has an FPS counter so you can see your performance

This only works on the first startup for me, as soon as I restart or run another mission it drops back :mad:
