Hi Guys :smile:

Well all Started when suddenly the game crashed , and it said that the memory was too low , and in that moment the game required 25 kb of more memory .

now the game go slowly and all my movments are slow motion and 1/2 time that i save the game , it crash . I 've played 6/7 Mission with no bugs and all goes perfectly , but now like this the game is not playable

My System specs are good enough to play at high video settings...

there is anyone who have my same prblm ...? or if there is someone who can help me it will be very very appreciated

btw I can play slowly also if i dont enjoy the game but , if i save or it autom save it crash and like this is not possible:(

yeah I've tried to put to low the Video settings .

This Error can be connected also with the save error:confused:

You can try different settings in video memory.

Try "default" instead of "normal" or vice-versa. I suppose you've 512MB VRAM.

You don't have a system, in my opinion, to choose high options in video settings.

VRAM is video ram (video memory). Do you have 512 MB in Graphic card?

Go to your My Documents\Arma 2\Arma2.cfg and edit.

Copy and past the information here.

Glad you solved your problem.

Your cfg seems to be ok. The only thing I would change is the values of render. I would use the same values as the resolution you intend to play. It will give more performance.

Maybe you should edit the title of this thread and add solved to it.

and if I change this also my game i will go fastest...

cause i tried to play also at low quality but it go sometimes very slow some times normal

How much drive space do you have on your primary disk ?

How much virtual memory is your system configured with ?

What is the actuall error or Event log from windows when it CTD?

What is the temp of your CPU / CASE etc when it CTD ?

When was the last time your machine was re-build (Windows etc) ?

Myabe running hijackthis to check you don;t have a heap of nasty crap in the background running.

But to me from what you have posted, it sounds like a VM / disk space issue.

further info: i modified the mission. i erase animals modules, and dynamic weather. then i change HDRprecision from 16 to 8. now , it works, i didn't have CTD on this particular mission. either HDR precision or animals modules are in cause. i suspect HDR precision ....

I might be wrong, but your save problem is more related with your vista OS than anything else, I think.

Try to disable Dat Execution Prevention (DEP)

and all goes Perfectly , and When I save it dosent Crash ....

But I dont want to fall in enthusiasm Cause i Discover That My Arma is Discontinous , it go only perfectly sometimes since around 7:00 Pm to the Night then it Start to go very slowly and CTD . But I'm Optimist:)
