wobbly 10 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) System Windows Vista 64 ultimate fully patched Asus Formula Striker II Motherboard 8GB DDR2 1TB Samsung F1 HDD Palit Dual Sonic Radeon HD 4870 1 GB DDR3 Creative XFI Gamer Soundcard Intel Quad Core 9450 All drivers are up to date and since the patch the game has started crashing randomly. Also, it crashes everytime I lose connection to a server. 2 of my friends that have just got the game have similar specs (except they have the i7 cpu) seem to be having the same problems. What happens is Vista says "Arma 2 have stopped responding" or "Arma 2 has stopped working" Any pointers? Sorry that this is a whinge for my first post. Apart from that I love the game but just wish the plebs that seem to spoil the game by team killing at spawn points would just bugger off. User Action If an error report was generated for this error, you might be able to obtain more information about the error by sending the report to Microsoft for analysis. What to expect Microsoft actively analyzes all error reports and prioritizes them based on the number of customers affected by the error signature contained in the report. When a report is submitted, Microsoft will try to determine the cause of the error, categorize it according to the type of issue encountered, and send you relevant information when such information is available. However, because error reports do not always contain enough information to positively identify the source of the issue, Microsoft may need to collect a number of similar reports from other customers before a pattern is discovered. Although Microsoft might not be able to provide a solution for your particular error at this time, all information submitted is used to further improve the quality and reliability of our products. f2k sel 164 Posted June 24, 2009 I'm getting lots of crashes in XP. I just spent a couple of hours crash free in the editor until I added one trigger and within 5mins it crashed. It's hard to say if that is the cause but I'll try and repeat it when I have more time.
smurphy 10 Posted June 25, 2009 I get CTDs every so often (though it was happening within 2mins earlier today), and I'm on XP Pro.

bomelby 0 Posted June 25, 2009 I have played the German legally paid and downloaded version, it worked ok. But I had some CTD from Manhattan and forwards. Today I finally got my 505 DVD version, patched it to 1.02. It CTD constantly, much more than before. It happends with different error mesages. I just hope BIS fix this ASAP, as of now the campaign is not playable. Today I finally got my 505 DVD version, patched it to 1.02. I couldn't patch my UK 505 DVD to 1.02. I thought it wasn't supposed to be patched. Probably just a corrupt download. Any good reason to apply that patch?
von_paulus 0 Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) Yes, I have XP SP3 and I am not getting only CTDs but also BSOD. BSOD's usually are related with bad memory or drivers conflicts. I'd some with ARMA; I discovered that was a conflict between my Sound Blaster Audigy drivers and ARMA. I noticed that your CPU is overclocked you could, as a test, to make it run at box speed and see if there's any difference. The version on the 505 DVD is 1.01, but the patch do not seem to help anything. So as far as I have experienced it is no good reason to actually apply it. f2k sel 164 Posted June 25, 2009 I carn't seem to isolate this problem as it does seem totally random, when it does lockup it dosen't write anything to the log either.
datter 0 Posted July 10, 2009 I'm into the Manhattan mission and experiencing totally random CTD's as well (sys specs below). Sometimes it will happen minutes into playing, while other times I've played for hours.
