??? OFP was made by BIS ARMA is essentially OFP 2 only they couldn't get the name as it was a copyright of the publisher or something like that. OFP 2 is developed by others and chances are that it's gonna be like a BF clone.

What max FPS do you get in Harvest Red and Razor Two missions of the campaign?

EVGA sli enhancement seems to do the same thing as renaming arma2.exe to crysis.exe. SLI works and you get some white flickering. I also noticed that I never get more than 30 FPS in campaign mode, yet in boot camp and scenarios I get anything from 20 to 80 FPS. Haven't tried multiplayer yet.

Still it seems the cards are not used to their full potential, no wonder i see no improvement in SLI mode for GTX 280, since just one of these cards should have enough juice to run the game at high FPS. I couldn't patch my UK 505 DVD to 1.02. I thought it wasn't supposed to be patched. Probably just a corrupt download. Any good reason to apply that patch?

i've been running around for a bit and found such places where there isn't much going on so my GPUs seem to be hardly working at all (20-30% full SLI Bar) but FPS is still not getting above 30. That's the same Razor Two mission I'm talking about. And again OCing CPU had absolutely no impact on FPS.

well your CPU seems to be better than mine (q9550 @2.83Ghz OCed @ 3.2Ghz) for gaming. My ram is 4Gb DDR3 low voltage OCZ and GPUs are GTX 280 SLI. What FPS do you get in Chernogorsk?

I'm starting to get a feeling that this game is internally capped in the zone of 20-30 FPS because no matter what I do I still get that... Low graphics or very high graphics, OCed or not OCed CPU, SLI on or off it's still the same. I'm getting so annoyed I think I'd even be happier if there was something that I could to do make my FPS go down (at least I would identify what affects it)

Hi guys. I got GTX 280 SLI here. Now according to SLI bar (assuming the bar size of more than half means SLI is working), it's working in the menu. As soon as I start the mission, however, SLI bar seems to be capped at 50% and FPS being 24-29 (begining of Razor Two mission of the campaign). Now, the weird thing is that I get the same no matter what I call the .exe file or whether I put -winxp or not. Even drivers don't seem to matter as I get the same with both the 182.50 and 186.18. I run the game at resolution of 1920x1200. My cpu is quadcore q9550 and my ram is ddr3 4Gb.

GTX 280 SLI Q9550 @ 2.83GHz (quad core) 4Gb DDR3 RAM 50-100 FPS in Menu (Air carrier) and 30-40 FPS (in the woods) I get between 20 and 30 FPS in the campaign mode (1920x1200 resolution). Tried pretty much everything found on this forum with no effect whatsoever. Even changing drivers from 182.50 to 186.18 had no result (well maybe lost 1-2 FPS on average). Other than that OCing the CPU disabling/enabling SLI or putting graphics to medium and low seems to have no impact on performance. Too bad. Waited for this game for a long time, got it on the first day it was released here in the UK and now I'm gonna have to wait for some sort of a fix before playing it.

Hi guys. Does this discussion apply to GTX 280 GPUs? I ve got a GTX 280 SLI (2 cards) - and it seems like nothing I do has an effect on FPS. No matter whether I set normal or high quality setting I still get 20-30 FPS (20 in Chernogorsk) in campaign mode. Tried Crysis64.exe workaround also with no effect. I'm running Vista64 with 4Gb DDR3 RAM and q9550 quad core CPU (@2.83 Ghz, also tried overclocking to 3.2Ghz again with no noticable difference in FPS) I'm running UK DVD version of the game released on 23rd of June.
