Jackdaniels 10 Posted June 21, 2009 My Anti Aliasing just remains disabled and there is no arrow at the side to enable it like there is for other options. Can anyone help me out with this, is it suppose to be locked at disabled?

Balgorg 10 Posted June 21, 2009 Why is the shadow then disabled? And will it be enable like in arma 1. Also using the Disable option on post process does remove the blur and the bloom, but i loose the depth of field effect. Will there be a way to keep only the effects you like, and ditch the ones you dont. I enable AA in the config, bu has anyone tried forcing it with their gfx card drivers. I tried with 1.01 and it didnt work, has this changed? Finally does anyone run with post process enabled, with blur/bloom mod, yet still get the depth of field effect? ProfTournesol 956 Posted June 21, 2009 Why is the shadow then disabled? And will it be enable like in arma 1. It has been said a zillion times that AA wasn't officially enabled, you have to wait for a complete AA improvement AND that if you wanna force it now, you'll have some troubles. Balgorg 10 Posted June 21, 2009 I have been looking for such information, but i couldnt find it, it takes alot of time to trawl through every forum post. Dont have all that time. But thanx for the info anyways ;)
Dwarden 1125 Posted June 21, 2009 AntiAliasing is not fully implemented (not sooner than next patch) so please don't use it to, as it may cause lot of visual glitches ...
B-oodThorn 10 Posted June 21, 2009 Heres a quote i found - FSAA is not fully supported yet (that's why you can have some shadows problems ...), you cant tweak it in the options menu. You can get it worked by changing value in your ArmA2.cfg file. :)FSAA=0; Disabled FSAA=1; Low FSAA=2; Medium FSAA=3; High FSAA will be completely supported in one of the futures patchs :)
11aTony 0 Posted June 21, 2009 I tried enabling it and its like there is one large shadow around you (like 50m radius) and its moving with you. If you disable shadows the big shadow turns a bit darker then if shadows enabled. Its weird and I have it on off for now.
reb 10 Posted June 21, 2009 FSAA also doesn't play nice with dual monitors - I get garbage from my 2nd monitor (text etc) on top of the game graphics with FSAA enabled. So yea, wait for the next patch.
