twobells 0 Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Some stores got the game, but the largest UK games retailer PLAY.COM won't be able to ship for the 19th due to the fact its still in packing process. Game succeeded in getting the game in np and Gamestation but others haven't. From six play customers: 14:54 hours 19/06/09 PC Games ARMA II: Armed Assault (2) (PC Games) £24.99 'Packing' Along with the postal strike tomorrow its not looking good. jamesf1 0 Posted June 18, 2009 The interesting thing is they're not even able to spare boxed copies for journalists. The publication I work for was told today by 505 that the boxed copies wouldn't be sent - but spindle versions (disc only) would be mailed out today/tomorrow (a week later than planned). We'd expected to be able to start playing this morning with the morning post, and have a review done by tomorrow lunchtime... Not a great problem, but it is a bit of a shame for the consumer, and not really the best solution for the retailers. But, at least everyone's getting the same treatment.
