I've seen videos of people using TrackIR to get an extra amount of zoom. Is it possible for players without TrackIR to perform the same zoom with the mouse wheel? It seems a bit unfair for snipers to get an extra advantage because they can afford a $150 peripheral.

What Raedor said, TiR does not add any level of zoom, you can do that yourself but pressing "+" or holding down "Right-mouse button"
