Abumarwan 10 Posted June 12, 2009 First, I will let you know my system specs and how the game runs for me. I have x2900HD 1gb. I have two, but crossfire doesn't work right now so the game is only utilizing one. QX6800 LGA 3.10 GHZ Asus P5W I975 motherboard the game runs perfectly and everything is set to high. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm playing the campaign, but I can't tell my soldiers to do anything. I ask them to mount in a vehicle, or go to a certain location, but nothing comes through on the channel. I don't hear my self say All - mount - that - HHMMV - at - 12 O Clock or any of that... They just sit there, and follow me. They wont get into any vehicles and I can't communicate with them This is a huge problem, I am on mission (Razor Two) and I don't want to have to walk everywhere. The commands don't work if I place myself in the editor as squad leader. I've tried lots of things, witch leads me to the conclusion that I don't have the command sound files to issue such orders. I see no text in the left, or hear a voice and my AI don't do anything but follow and shoot. If they are scripted to do something like speak, they will. This is quite strange. I DL'd the game right away and the english files but I've never had this problem. Where did you put the languagecore.pbo? No problem installing the game, and the patch. Absolutly no error. Did you try reinstalling the game, running it in german and than installing the english patch to see if the eng patch is the problem? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
icebreakr 3157 Posted June 15, 2009 Its quiet annoying to see that you order your AI soldiers to target f.e. a BMP3 and give command to open fire, but since they don't carry AT they don't fire with guns... they have to throw rocks if I order them to attack :) of course they gladly kill you if you set "target - self" and "fire"... no questions asked :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cescollino 10 Posted June 15, 2009 (edited) ok i reinstalled the game and i applyed the english patch..it works normally but when i'v installed the patch 1.01 and re applied the language patch the commands didnt work again .. after i tried to replace the new bin.pbo with the old one of 1.0 version and the commands work normally but ther r problems of configuration.. so i think there is something wrong in dta/bin.pbo.. solutions??? :) Edited June 16, 2009 by Cescollino Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Language patch is not official, contact the maker, make sure you have the latest version, use a -mod folder and never overwrite original files.
