eem 1 Posted June 6, 2009 I purchased over 4 hours ago, downloaded successfully but no key was provided with confirmation e-mail. The nice people at Kundensupport Gamesplanet said wait up to 8 hours before contacting them again so it looks like I have another 4 hours to go... :( L8r, eem
eem 1 Posted June 7, 2009 Update...It only took about 13 hours, but I did receive my CD Key last night (YAY!!!). Installed, activated, and immediately applied the 1.01 patch no problems. I was able to start a local LAN Warfare game and played for about an hour. It may all be in German, but I know most of the squad commands from habit so it's not been too hard to set up and play. See you on the battlefield... :D
H00t74 0 Posted June 7, 2009 Waiting almost 48 hours now for key. Assuming it is because of the weekend. Will wait until Monday afternoon and shoot second email...
nedley 10 Posted June 8, 2009 This has gone completly off topic. The situation was that the CD Keys that Metaboli were issueing (within 1 hour or 100 hours, its not the issue) were not allowing players to join multiplayer games. This issue was due to the CD Keys not being registered in the master game servers because they were brand new. This issue has now been fixed. Please keep on topic and only post if your CD-Key is INVALID. If you have simply not received your CD Key from a retailer, contact their customer support. kRush 10 Posted June 8, 2009 There is a trick with gamesplanet/metaboli. Just log in and klick the send e-mail information button on your gameinfo page. That way you will get your key instantly - just like they advertise it - instead of waiting for ages until they finish their 'security check'. ;)

CuteQA 0 Posted June 11, 2009 I bought the DVD version from Amazon.de, and the cd-key is not working. should i contact petergames support or Morphicon/Metaboli support?
Placebo 29 Posted June 11, 2009 I bought the DVD version from Amazon.de, and the cd-key is not working. should i contact petergames support or Morphicon/Metaboli support? Not working as in unable to install the game or not working as in multiplayer? You can PM me the key and I can check it for you to tell you if it's a valid CD Key or not. Have you also tried the 2 for z and other confusing letters people have mentioned?
CuteQA 0 Posted June 12, 2009 My problem is solved, many thanks to placebo! my N and M in the CD-key looks almost 99% exactly same! It really helps to distinguish the characters by taking a close up picture and zoom in if anyone have similar problems. I'm planning to buy the US version too, hope the US publisher won't have this same issue.
Placebo 29 Posted June 12, 2009 Aha so this time it accepted the CD Key on install? Good to know thanks, it's worth you cutting out just the M and N from your pic and showing people how horrificly badly they're printed to try to help out other people. Yes i also tryed 5 times during installing until my cd-key got accepted... pay attention on the following letters: (german version) S could be a 5 (5 could be an S) M could be a N (N could be a M) Z could be a 2 (2 could be a Z) 0 could be an O (O could be a 0) if you can manage to make the installer accepting your key you can call yourself a "keybord cowboy" - good luck :p

Placebo 29 Posted June 13, 2009 It's absolutely shocking to be honest, I apologise for the trauma you've all had to go to just to read the CD-Keys, please don't send your optician's bills to me though ;)
SnakePliskin 10 Posted June 16, 2009 (edited) I also got the DL from games planet, have instaled it with the key i was sent. But when i try to launch the game it says "No disc inserted"Please insert the original Arma 2 CD/DVD. It gives me an option to go to www.securom.com/message.asp?m=nodisc It tells me to open cmd and type "dla disable e" where "e" is the drive`s assigned letter. When i do that this happens: "dla" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. What have i done wrong? Please help Edited June 16, 2009 by Placebo
CarlGustaffa 4 Posted June 16, 2009 I think I'll wait until these sorts of problems have been sorted. Will get too pissed if the copy protection doesn't allow me to play the game :635: And, are they using matrix printers? What kind of cheap crap is that? Lol! When I buy, I'm gonna check it in the store if it can't be read, and demand a replacement for a faulty product. That was simply horrifying lack of clarity... Alpha-Kilo 36 Posted June 16, 2009 CarlGustaffa, the funny thing is: You think you can read the key in the shop, but at home when installing the game you'll find that ithe key is not accepted. That's when the guessing starts. I bought the boxed game and it took me three or four trials to enter the valid key. I had some trouble with the beta and the final patch, so I decided to re-install the game. This time I wrote the key on a piece of paper using the NATO code as I punched it into the computer and attached the note to the manual for future reference. Have you checked to see if you have a file called "paul.dll"? It could be that the DE patch and the downloaded version is not correct match for us. It could be for the Retail version of the game (DVD boxed). Maybe someone can help us out? //FixXxeR
