DOA 20 Posted May 15, 2009 (edited) Hi All, Recently I received an email from a OFP player who was returning to OFP after serving a couple of tours in ArmA and while he was searching for some addons, he came across my web site. He emailed me and thanked me very kindly for my addon collection as he was a mission editor and found a lot of the addons he needed in my pack. This motivated me to post on the official forums here in case it would benefit any others seeking addons. This pack was created for missions I make and use on my server with my squad and friends, etc. There are still good community sites with good download areas but rather than download each addon individually, you can get a ton of them here in one large pack. Check the link below for a list of included addons. I’m a huge fan of everything BIS. Over the years I’ve enjoyed everything about OFP and ArmA very much. I especially enjoy creating custom missions in the mission editor in OFP and ArmA. I have collected a fairly large amount of OFP addons and mods over the years. My personal addons collection, which I created a mod folder for, had grown way too large, so I had to reduce it to about 4.3 Gigs to make it easier to distribute. While it is far from a complete collection of all the excellent work done by the OFP community, I think it is a fairly good collection of OFP addons. It contains addons that could be used for creating missions about current real world flashpoints with some WWII, Nam and a little sci-fi thrown in also. This pack is just an addons collection and not any type of conversion or replacement mod. I guess it would be used more by mission editors than players, unless a player needed a particular addon in this pack. With the release of ArmA and the soon to be released ArmA II, more and more resources of the OFP community are moving away from OFP and some of the older addons are getting a little harder to find or are gone completely. This pack would also be a good archive to hang on to, if you have the storage space, to help preserve all this work by the OFP community for posterity. The more of us who store this data the longer it will be available and preserved. I use mods like FDF,WGL, FURR etc., but I also like making missions with addons only, leaving the original OFPR pretty much intact, although I do use ECP 1.85e with the DMA lean and roll animations added along with my addons pack. I have the @TGS and ECP 1.85e/DMA Animations packs we use on our servers uploaded to my dropbox share and all are welcome to download and enjoy. If any addon maker objects to this please let me know and I will remove your addons immediately. I downloaded all of these from community sites download areas over the last 8 years or so. I have attempted to thank and credit all the authors of these addons in my packs documentation files and by including all the documentation that came with the addons as best I could. No one was left out intentionally and I welcome corrections. Please send corrections or omissions to doa@thegraveyardshift.net. If you crank out or find some good coop or other missions that are compatible with this pack please send them to me for consideration to be placed on my public OFP servers. Here are the links to a list of the AddOns in my @TGS pack and a download link. http://www.thegraveyardshift.net/download/TGS_addOns_pack.txt The addons pack is currently available from my dropbox share at the links below. This is a set of winRAR archives and all files should be downloaded into the same folder and unpacked with 7-zip or winRAR. Google them if you are unaware of 7z or winRAR. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part01.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part02.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part03.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part04.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part05.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part06.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part07.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part08.rar http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.part09.rar I don't have enough space to fit the ECP mod folder on dropbox so it remains on megaupload but is is a small download and should be manageable from here. ECP with DMA animations-Lean and Roll http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D5H6VS1X If megauploads removes these files due to lack of downloads please email me and I will re up them. doa@thegraveyardshift.net README_TGS_2009_AddOns_Pack.doc Excel Spread Sheet - TGS_2009_Addons_Pack_Addons_Directory.xls More info on my addons collection and public servers: http://www.thegraveyardshift.net Enjoy…DOA Edited August 5, 2010 by DOA
DOA 20 Posted June 18, 2009 @Angus: Just noticed your home town while I was editing my post. It so happens that I am visiting the Twin Cities June 29 2009 - July 5 2009 to visit some of my girlfriends old friends and UM where she went to college. We will be attending The taste of Minnesota festival and a Robert Cray concert at the Cabooze club. I will have broadband in the room at the Crowne Plaza Riverfront and I have OFP and ArmA loaded on my laptop. We should jump a server and run a few missions. It is indeed a small world. :-)
anguis 4 Posted June 19, 2009 Hi, DOA! Pretty cool - the Taste of MN is fun. I caught Los Lonely Boys there a few years back (caught Robert Cray at the State Fair a few years back, as well!). It sounds like you'll have a good time. Keep an eye on your PMs regarding getting online for a few games together. Take it easy!
zulu1 145 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Hey DOA I have tried to D/L the TGS 2009 file twice and both times I get a 800-900mb file that I can't open. I think something is wrong. I've been watching various editions of TGS servers but haven't seen much activity. Most of the maps I see there seem to be DM or CTF. With the downturn at Vet Squad and Recon it would be nice to see another coop server with a good core group of players. Edited June 20, 2009 by Zulu1

I have only recently started using dropbox to host these large files so I don't realy know how reliable their servers are. Try again and let me know. Hi Dice, There are some nice M977s in the CBT pack. http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/file/COMBAT_HEMMT_Pack;39198 Here is a link to the required CBT Misc 1.1 pack: http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/file/;39194 These CBT addons are in my addon collection but it is a large pack to download for just these vehicle. Bielow 10 Posted July 26, 2010 Maybe You should repair pack :) ? BTW/ Change pictures CBT addon to small size ;) it's too big.
DOA 20 Posted July 26, 2010 @bielow and zulu1 : I'm sorry you have had problems with the addons pack. Did you open it with 7zip? I will download it today and check it out. I have not had problems with the download opening after download. If it is bad I will re-upload it. Dropbox is a free file host and it may take a day or two for me to download - test and re-upload if that is necessary. I will post here when I have finished checking it out. Thanks...doa
Bielow 10 Posted July 26, 2010 Nop. :( 7zip, rar, izarc etc don't open the archive. A few minutes ago my buddy download a few mb more than me - 1,3gb but he has the same problem as Zulu or I. Maybe it's a problem with one addons in pack ? I had the same thing with WW II Pacific Pack by Crocodile[RU] on filefront.
DOA 20 Posted July 26, 2010 These days I seem to have less and less time for my beloved Operation Flashpoint. :-( When I do get some game time I am up to my neck in ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead. We still open Operation Flashpoint occasionally for old tmes sake, but there is no serious mission development for OFP at TGS at this time. It was a great 6-7 years that we will never forget. Thanks again BIS. I have stayed with you longer than I did with any of my ex wives or employers. :D
zulu1 145 Posted July 26, 2010 I tried it again and only got 737mb out of 1.6gb that it was supposed to be.

Should be about another hour on the download. Perhaps you and zulu and I can run a mission soon if we can all get the addons. :) ---------- Post added at 10:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:53 AM ---------- Is the download failing for you or does it say download complete when it stops? My download is now 45 % and says about 1 hour and 15 minutes to go. I will update this thread again when I get it downloaded. DOA 20 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) I have downloaded the pack twice and both times I get a window saying the download is complete but it always downloads the file smaller than 1.66 gigs. I know for a fact that it should be 1.66 gigs. I will attempt to upload it again to dropbox and I will begin searching for another file host that support such large files. I suppose I could try splitting it up into smaller parts. I'm sorry for the issues. I will post updates here... Thanks for your interest in the TGS addOns for the original BIS Operation Flashpoint...DOA ---------- Post added at 02:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:59 PM ---------- Here is a link to a dropbox share that has the TGS addon pack in a single 1.77 gig zip file. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6582260/%40TGS.zip I am downloading the 1.77GB zip file now but it will take about 2.5 hours and I will leave work before that finishes. I will not be at this location again to check it until tomorrow. I will report on its status then or you can attempt to download tonight and post your results here. DOA 20 Posted July 27, 2010 Thank you very much, this is exactly what I was looking for!! I am glad I could help. @Zulu1 and bielow: I am repacking the @TGS addons pack and will be re-uploading it and posting working links in the first post of this thread. I have no idea how they became corrupt. It will take a day or two for me to pack and test the files then upload them. I hope it will be available and working again by July 28 or 29 2010. I want to contribute whatever I can to the community. I will update this thread when it is done so you should all get a notification. Thanks...DOA

zulu1 145 Posted July 27, 2010 I'm up for some coop if I can get the addons :) I'm not sure that I can convince others to d/l 1.6 gb's of addons, but I'll see what I can do.
miho 10 Posted July 28, 2010 maybe you split those pack in several parts 3 or 4 ?
DOA 20 Posted July 28, 2010 I re-packed the addons with 7z and uploaded the new file to the dropbox share. I then attempted to download it and got the same thing. The new pack should be 1.7 gigs but it says download complete on only 1.61 gigs and the archive is corrupt when you try to open it. The original archive I uploaded still works fine so I am going to blame it on dropbox. I am now using winRAR to pack the addons. This splits the pack up into 4 files about 650 MB each. I am uploading them now and will test them as soon as possible and will report back here. Thanks...doa @zulu1: The addon pack is quite large, 1.7 gig is just the download. It unpacks to almost 5 gigs. I know this is very large, but it represents the cream of the crop from about 7 years of community development. It is far smaller than my "TGS Massive" Addons collection which weighs in at about 7 gigs. The pack we are trying to get downloaded is not complete in that it doesn't contain the conversion mods like FDF, FURR, ACE, ww1, wwII, falklands, civil war, etc. but it is a pretty compresensive collection of individual addons. Some of these are getting very hard to find as resources turn to ArmA and now ArmA2. This pack will benefit old OFP heads and mission makers mostly. I totally understand if a player doesn't want or need them. If you do. Start the download and go to bed. It should be in by morning. :-) ---------- Post added at 10:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:50 AM ---------- I also tried my ArmA addons pack from a second dropbox and I get the same thing. It reports the file as download complete but the size is too small and it won't open correctly. I have never had a problem with dropbox before. I am hoping it is due to the size of these single 7z files. I am uploading the winRAR files now and will test ASAP. I will report back here as soon as possible. DOA 20 Posted July 29, 2010 Update: I have submitted a trouble ticket with dropbox and I am testing a file hosting service called megaupload now. I will keep this thread updated. Thanks for your interest and paitence...doa
Bielow 10 Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) Hmmm about this: http://hotfile.com/ Megaupload it's good but it have a one big mistake... Sometimes is hard to find free slots :/ When You upload this send me pm. If will be all right with files, I can do a mirror. edit----- Free premium users have a better transfer of downloading file during downloading from hotfile than megaupload. It's my opinion of course ;) Edited July 29, 2010 by Bielow
