Ive always like that turrent, but it looks to bulky for the hull. The hull looks quite streamlined and the turrent looks like it was thrown on from an older design, if you know what i mean

yep, this is also my point of view.

I found pictures about the Pirantha skyranger, and i like it, the turret is strange, very scifi:p,

I kept in memory this turret + the tungunska turret + the Gepard SPAAG turret + the ItPsV 90 turret + the AMX-13 turret.

i'm going to create a mix of all these turrets.

the old turret from the Anath-AA is now used by the WTU medium tank SPAAG. the turret is not totally identical (modelling in progres).

the modular system is finished.

the MAV has 5 models:

- MAV-20 IFV or ICV

(for the four vehicles below, I used the same hull. )

- MAV-20 APC (25-30mm gun)

- MAV-medevac

- MAV-command post

- MAV-repair/ammo

the turrets and the storages are finished, i must do now the details.

the last but not least, all the uvmapping for the weapons are finished.

@STGN, I studied a lot of modern vehicles and also some projects for the military armaments; for to have something which is more realistic.

Now, i have tons of references. And one of my project is to create the Patria AMV; but this will be later.:)

2 projects for the mod:

- WTU armored vehicle: my reference is the Serbian Lazar.

- Thyrian armored car: my reference is the German zobel

Very good work, this mod is great!

The patria AMV is a good choice, and the Spähpanzer Luchs or the french VBCI could be good models for the mod !
