(still no 10km sight with good fps :/ )

Can a moderator close this topic? It's gone way off from the original topic, which was never answered conclusively.

Your issue with the demo, was cured with the full game and patches.

Did you like the demo?

I usually uninstall demo's and either buy the game or not.

Most of us are pointing out that ArmA plays fine on Vista w/4gig mem.

lol @ Placebo...........seems that guy has better contacts than you.

@Placebo, did they ever properly release xp 64. I remember they did a free trial that lasted so many months. I liked it but i remember having lots of other issues with drivers for certain hardware thats why i went back to xp32bit. But i suppose now that would not be an issue, just that i have never seen it for sale icon_rolleyes.gif

If you have Vista x64,ATI 4870 1gb, 4gb ram, 8400 3.0ghz

you need Patch 1.15beta

All has been fixed game runs like a dream with latest ATI Drivers

anything below Patch 1.15 is windowed mode and removing ram in msconfig.

Who told you to use the Demo buy the game and patch up now biggrin_o.gif
