Voice Comms Volume

Recommended Posts

(I searched but could not seem to locate any info)

Question: is there a way/setting to crank up the in-game voice comms?

They seem to be much improved these days, but are reduced to quiet mumblings by combat sounds and engine noise. I've tried adjusting the sliders in the audio options, but all I seem to be able to do is substitute comms for fx. I'd really like to be able to hear comm traffic over my engines/helos (while still hearing my engines/helos).

When running Vent (cranked up) everything can be heard clearly. I'd like to be able to replicate that with the in-game comms (and I know BIS put alot of effort into voice comms).

I find coms to be well hear able in any situation with fx set on 6.5 and radio on 8.5. Have you tried setting the fx on a lower level than radio?

Put music up to full, should do the trick wink_o.gif

Any way to get louder "direct speech" ? Global/side/group/vehicle -channels are fine. Direct can be very hard to hear at times, if not impossible, almost like the radius from which you can hear is too small (I have to stand within 2m).
