Hitman hits hard | Revive

My "small" coop, version 0.9 beta is ready for some serious ass kicking, inspired by Generation Kill..

Long coop. 1-2 h gameplay most likely..

basicly you and your friends play some marines with hmmwvs tasked with assaulting the city.. new orders will come later on.

Feedback on all aspect is wanted.. there might be some bugs but so far the testing with my friends all be fine, only really bad time was when the end trigger didn't work.. but that should be fixed now smile_o.gif

again.. I need some feedback to get some motivation.

BUT:

I see this revive mission, and i would actually shut that down (for my clan use) so i can go play it with ACE wounding sys.

I took the liberty of editing your mission a bit on my own, hope you don't mind. I am waiting on your permission though (all credits kept as they were anyways):

1. removed revive script (atm, i have one 45s spawn time, and a no revive version. i will prlly add a add_seconds_to_spawn_time based on number of deaths script laters)

2. changed civilians with iraqi civs (ACE) - i hope all of them as i mass edited the mission.sqm

3. changed SLA with Iraqi Nat guard (ACE) - hope i haven't missed too many as i did the changes in mission.sqm

4. changed BIS USMC with Desert Recon USMC (ACE)

5. changed M1s with desert M1A2 TUSK

6. minor changes with the scripts (added weapons_respawn script), minor changed with the base etc.

I haven't had the chance to play this mission from start to end, but what i have seen looks pretty good wink_o.gif Fun mission anyways.

I would have handled some stuff differently (like the markers etc), but if it works, why fix. Will be back with comments laters.

yep, thanks GranQ, very fine mission. I loved Generation Kill and I'm looking forward to missions with this style and feel.

but... Pufu's version looks great (ACE baby).

So, I hope you can take (both or whatever, I dont mind) those changes and release ACE version also.

I vote for both version.

* No addons with revive.

* ACE with ACE wounding system.

i decided to keep the different number of soldiers down in order to easy replace soldiers..

I HAVE to get ace installed for sure.. haven't had space on game partition sad_o.gif

but talk on msn and we can sort out the ace version together.

rofl.gif If you haven't noticed, that's what they're discussing in the few posts thus far. Wow. biggrin_o.gif

The vilas pack required is his Swedish Army weapons pack:

I think he didn't mean to keep it in there though judging from his title description. The easiest thing to do is just unpack the .pbo, open up the mission.sqm and delete the "vilas_swedweaponpack" from the top group. Then repack the folder to a .pbo and viola.

That's not what I am asking. I am asking if they are going to release a ACE mod update for this instead of one guy doing his own ACE edits.

my gaming computer "died" but now it is working again.. don't ask, don't know.

Actually working on the mission right now.

Vilas weapons is a requriment, by misstake, had the addon loaded and it "self added" itself to the mission. It isn't requried.

A few things have changed since this version, including bug fixes, some objectives have been changed and even some added.

A ACE version will come aswell, the "problem" with ACE is among others that there much longer AI engagement and stuff, has to make sure everything act like supposed to..

what is left is like double, triple check that all objectives and stuff happens, that the mission ends and so on.
