rekrul 7 Posted September 2, 2008 ...and for the love of God, do it properly. With Arma running on a 2.6Ghz dual Xeon CPU and Evolution, it uses 100% CPU when it's empty. Furthermore, I had a 261GB error.txt file. Usually BIS release the Linux Dedicated Server 6-12+ months after launch and when they do, it's still quite horrible. Please try to improve this. 3rd time's the charm!
[GLT] Legislator 66 Posted September 9, 2008 I know how you feel. We're using a linux dedicated server as well. I'm glad everything works pretty good now. I hope there'll be a linux server of arma 2 shortly after the release.
deady 0 Posted January 3, 2009 I endorse this message. For the good of long term Arma 2 multiplayer, please give equal development time to both the windows server and the linux server.

No linux code for betas, we'll probably get it for the final release, 1.16, 1.17, who knows which one it will be...
