kklownboy 43 Posted September 8, 2008 it should inflict an injury if you fire standing up. Why? because its a huge fricken gun that kicks like two 10gage shotguns. hello!
sparks50 0 Posted September 8, 2008 I haven't heard about anyone injuring themselves shooting this rifle standing. The only way I could think that is possible is with a very bad shooting stance. Ill stop my offtopic here too. To add something useful here, the eastern sniper rifles in Arma has a working range estimation scale to the left of the cross hair. You can use this to quickly find the distance to your foe(provided that the foe is standing or running.) Heres how it works: Make the the target "stand" on the bottom left horizontal line, and line up hes head with the scale to read the range. 250 meters range: 350 meters range: Western rifles does not have a equaling to this as far as I know, and you will have to learn human-size/range relationship by memory with those. subs17 9 Posted September 9, 2008 looks like it can be done lol BTW regarding the above image after you found range was 250m would you be then using the 0 ele graticle or would it be the top one? What range is the Dragonov zeroed?
sparks50 0 Posted September 9, 2008 I doubt that exact part is functional. NWD has sightadjustments though.
max power 21 Posted September 9, 2008 I read a popular science article on the barret m82 and it said that it kicks like a 12 gauge shotgun due to the muzzle brake... not like 2 ten gauge shotguns.
subs17 9 Posted September 10, 2008 Yeah muzzle brake reduces the recoil by 70%.
Col. Faulkner 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Has anyone yet modded a mil-dot graticule that is correctly calibrated?
max power 21 Posted September 11, 2008 Has anyone yet modded a mil-dot graticule that is correctly calibrated? NonWonderDog. His addons have faithfully modelled reticles and ballistics, so you can use the miliradian reticles in the rifle scopes and binoculars for accurate ranging. He's also modelled the other Russian ranging devices.
