EricM 0 Posted August 18, 2008 Hi all, I'm looking for good missions involving as much air support/combat/transport as possible (SP or MP). Anybody know a few ones ? I'm trying to bring in some friends who are more flight sim fans than regular grunts and I'm running out of stuff to keep them entertained... LFO 0 Posted August 18, 2008 do you know the Gunship 2000 sp-campaign? quite entertaining, and one mission where you have to rescue a downed pilot from the sea is simply outstanding imo. i wish there would be more like this. ArMoGaDoN 0 Posted August 19, 2008 Theres the HeliStrike (no addons) and ApacheStrike (MAP_Air and MAP_Misc needed) maps on the 16AAB server, good for a few players in co-op. They were designed for hosting on dedi server tho, self-host may not work perfectly on the triggers. Watch out the enemy helos are AA-capable... Feel free to play/host these if u want. colligpip 0 Posted August 19, 2008 In this version of warfare I made the air assets are a lot cheaper and both bases start at each airstrip ( which is heavily guarded with mando enabled SAMS!!! :-) so no you cant just fly over and destroy the base. you can also call in more air with the airconsole which you can get if you buy a laser marker. (Not sure where to find it though) Has you start off as a Blackhawk pilot, you perform a medevac op and then a convert insertion of some SpecOps before things go... wrong.
