BattleEye kicking many players?

And I was just kicked off a session after playing for two hours! What's up with this thing!?

It is currently the major pain in the ass of this game.

The problem is that if your internet cuts out for 30 seconds or longer [sometimes that happens with ISPs or with the connections in between] you are KICKED off because BattleEye was not responding...

Presumably to stop those who would temporarily disable Battleeye to run a cheat then undisable it...

I am sorry, but if your internet connection didn't time out then this was caused by problems in ArmA's netcode.

Ah, so it's the Join-In-Progress and custom client-side faces/addons etc. that's causing other clients to loose frames and consequently getting the boot.

I'm sure this goes hand-in-hand with the NVidia Display Device stopped responding error as well. (TDR)

Both that with the JIP players, and if you alt-tab. An alt-tabbed client effectively stop responding and can thus get kicked for that too.

I guess this might be related to bandwidth management not working well when the game has no focus (discussed in this JIP LAG topic)
