Red's Fix v1.2

Hi, after have alot of CTS's for unknown reasons, i've finnaly removed

the Red_Fix v1.2 from the ArmA's shortcut and seems that im able

to play again booth in SP & MP, any idea of what could cause CTS's

on this damn must have addon?. Let's C ya

Seems to have problems with replacements:

When having Red's Fix and some replacements installed I'm able to reproduce a critical exception in ArmA.

BLUFOR replacements didn't work in the last version. I haven't tried this version yet cause I wasn't sure if it was fixed. I never saw CTD's though in the last version.

i noticed increase in random crashes ... atm i reverted back to 1.1 and it seems stable again ...

Red any idea what is problem ?

Hi, with the RED_FIX v1.1 i had the same replacements that i've now

which are:

- BLUEFORCE = Jonn's USMC v1.6

- OPFOR = Relikkki's OPFOR v1.2

- Spec Ops = Jonn's army SF's v1.1

- Weapons = my own M4's & M16A4-DMR

- Ammo Crates = I0n0s Ammo Crates (unreleased)

And i also have there:

- Whoever flares v1.1

- Andy Mags (latests version)

- TCP_Anim Pack (for jump off fences)

And i don't had any CTS that i could think that was comming from

any of this addons. So i still don't know if one of this ones could

be the conflict of if it's something with the RED_Fix v1.2 itself. Let's C ya

from stuff you mentioned i only have the TCP anim pack for jump and andy's mags

Wow that's nuts. I used those same Replacement files and tested them with just v1.1 and the required AddOns and the Blufor never works.

EDIT

Yup, BLUFOR doesn't work with v1.1 again. Only using @RF modfolder and a @Test folder for the replacements and respective AddOns. But Once I take RF out, it works.

Hi, i've been using the Jonn's USMC (woodland) replacement from

the 1St day that i seen it released and i never had any kind of issue

with it. The one released here (just scroll down):

Jonn's USMC units and "others".

As i've said, i never had any issue or CTS using the Red_Fix v1.1

or/and the Jonn's woodland marines replacement made by: LBpilot1.

Until that i've installed the Red_Fix v1.2 which i found weird; i guess

that i'll switch back to the v1.1 and i'll prey for keep beeing able

of play with in MP; if i'd to choose between the Jonn's USMC and

any other addon... the election it's clear for me.

But i'll like to enjoy a so good addon as the Red's Fix, improves alot

the game. Let's C ya

Maybe you are just special or my ArmA copy is not working right.. V1.1 still doesn't work for the BLUFOR replacements I use. The first RF worked for me but not v1.1.

Not "special", special. Just a figure of speech. The ArmA gods must be on your side cause it still don't work for me.

v1.0 does but not v1.1. I haven't tried v1.2.

We are all special.

Now i can't find the v1.1 in anywhere, and like a fool i deleted it

the other day after see the updated version. And yeah, the Jonn's

(woodland) Marines replacement also worked with the v1.0 for me;

you must be right... "i'm special..." >>;-) . Let's C ya

Hi, thanks for the link Manzila, there they've the Red Fix v1.1 and

i've tested it in MP and works without any problem; i forget to say

that the Jonn's army SF's v1.0 replacement that i use it's the woodland

SF's replacement. But everything works as well as before with all

those replacements installed in a mod folder called: @Replacements

plus the @ArmAEffects (latest), lowplants, @SIX_Pack1 and the QG.

And as i've said... without any problem, using too the Avgani v1.1

map in another mod folder called @Islands; i fear to reinstall the

MAP 3DE stuff, but that über pimp editor upgrade shouldn't give any

problem i guess... the mapfact guys may be germans... but damn

they know what they do. Let's C ya

i'm unsure about the crashes now i returned to test 1.2 and it's all fine atm

anyway i noticed errors like

Looks like this mod is mainly made to repair models, yeah?

So how about adding bulletproof glass to hummers, AH-6 and UH-6, blackhawks, mi-17 etc? Its sad when I fly AH-6 and then one bullet from ak74 hits me and everything is gone.

I was very suprised when saw a little animation when reloading m249. I hope for more - or - even animating whole weapons wink_o.gif

Hi, as far as i know.. the AH-6/MH-6 and MI-17 are not bullet proof,

and the HMMWV's glasses are only BP (= Bullet Proof) up to a 7.62x51mm

caliber or similar bullets, while the AH/MH-6 & MI-17 glasses are not.

What i don't know is if they can stop a few 5.56x45mm rounds, but

i'll swear that they can't. Let's C ya

VIP cars have bulletproof glass. Even if a bullet would make it through that it would be off its initial trajectory and have lost a lot of its kinetic energy (not to speak the deformation done by the glass).

IIRC the UH-60 isnt bullet proof either.

For not being sniped out of a helicopter i would advise playing with the truegameplay mods.
