Trapper 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Have you checked the corresponding game font table? Probably they've used fonts which include empyt spaces for such language individual letters. Otherwise you could search the official missions if there's any onedisplaying such symbols at least in the german briefings. Anyway it won't be the same font as in the action menu I guess. suma 8 Posted February 5, 2008 How do you enter the letters? Be sure to provide your strings in UTF-8 or Unicode, not in any 8bit codepage.
canukausiuka 1 Posted February 5, 2008 I've had this problem too. I can't get them to show up in unit names in the editor. It worked fine for OFP, but right now I'm down to using ue, oe, etc., which just isn't quite the same.
i0n0s 0 Posted February 5, 2008 How do you enter the letters? Be sure to provide your strings in UTF-8 or Unicode, not in any 8bit codepage. Suma has writen the answer: ArmA is able to read UTF-8 files. If you're files will be saved as unicode the characters will be shown up correct.

weegee_101 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Assuming you use Notepad, when you go to the save as... screen there is an "Encoding" drop down allowing you to select UTF-8. If you use something else, then check your documentation for the program.
