CarlGustaffa 4 Posted February 6, 2008 If having ghillies, I'd like it to be optional. I'd be dissappointed if I *had* to have my squad sniper walk about in that. Actually, I'd like several sniper "classes". Dedicated Marksman with M4 (acog or other scope) on the squad level, sniper M24 on the platoon level, and a full sniper team attached to the company (or higher) level. The latter consisting of one M24, one M107, and one M4/M203 units. Only ghillies? No thanks, I'd rather be without since these guys are a bit special on the level that ArmA tries to simulate. sandzibar 0 Posted February 6, 2008 make it a back slot item (like rpg's / m136's) shouldnt be using AT when all ghillied up anyway.

dwringer 45 Posted March 25, 2008 Heh, the back slot idea is def. a good one. That said, even in Arma I, with the PKW Mercenaries addon, there is a ghillie suit-wearing sniper. Only problem with the suit is that it tends to cause issues with backlight shining through the transparent textures that make up the canvas strips. That might be related to my 8800 anyway; goodness knows every other bug like that seems to be
Undeceived 392 Posted April 3, 2008 Yes, very good idea the one with the slots. There should be many other possibilities in the game / gameplay regarding the slots.
