In my attempt to use CSLA 2 addons in ffur/slx i coundn't find any config for th CSLA addons. All the addons had a convert file. Is this a encrypted config? If so can i open it or is it supposed to stay closed to protected the addons?

Try Binview,by Chain Of Command.

You'll find it here

Perhaps what you're looking for is in the main Config.bin.

As in the "bin" subfolder,of the mod folder.

I'm open to correction on this.

arrrggg... geez.... use Eliteness... trust me....

   Mikero's Tools

unRap was built with ArmA in mind... Eliteness should handle all versions of OFP and ArmA rapified config files.

ke already tried coc binview, was the first thing i did, got a errorcode = 9 message.

eliteness gave

//class convert.bin {};

//Derap: Unexpected EOF

Derap: Unexpected EOF

im not sure if its a bin file. but it use binview as its standard opening system

its named convert and its designsated as a ofp binary class

maybe someone could download CSLA 2 and take a look?

I have seen what Arkengel is talking about. Inside the PBO is a conventional Config.cpp and a Convert.bin file. I have opened these config files and edited them without and apparent problems. The convert.bin I think maybe a standard file that binarizes the config file.

oh... actualy, i put you wrong... didn't really look too closely last time... and haven't look at anything OFP'ish in a long time... convert.bin i think from memory has no 'config' related info. in it... it is sorta 'rapified' but it has something to do with the crash reporting for the OFP engine...

i think from memory if you delete it... and next time you crash... they'll be a 'new' version of the file there...

don't hold me to that... but i seem to remember from years ago trying to work out what it exactly did...

not going back to OFP unless it's a 10-year reunion of the clan...

@Synide

What you are talking about is the context.bin; the convert.bin is a 0-byte file that was used to signal to DePBO 1.5 that the contents of the PBO should not be extracted.

This was meant as some kind of 'content protection', which was very easy to hack away with a hex editor.

@arkengel

Look in the main config.bin as Macser suggested (should be CSLA\bin\config.bin).

I feel pretty foolish now, i started out by look at the main config file in the bin map, but for some reason i tought that it only containd the replacemnts for the BIS addon whistle.gif. The main config file contains the addon config for all addons.

Thanks
