Know it's really early an hope I'm not supposed to be in CWR thread but looking for missions to play that people have made for OFP that will be playable in CWR mainly MP-Coops.Thanx!

Copy ".abel.pbo" missions from your OFP missions folder into the CWR missions folder. A few missions are playable although with missing units (ex: missing hind in "Steal the Car"). Some will cause a CTD. I havn't tested them all yet.

Cool thanx what I was looking for! Was hoping to get Heavy Metal an maybe the other Battlefields but not sure if there even on correct island or compatible or not. Maybe some OFP wizzos (like i dream to be some day)  Will port some stuff over...hint hint. Did'nt get to play multiplayer at all in OFP so really anticpating an hopin we'll see a OFP revival.

May as well get this in while I can   Funny thing about this too i just reloaded OFP CRC guess i did'nt have to after all 8) Thanx again an merry Xmas all!

A section only for CWC2CWR ported missions with some subforums (e.g.: Release; Discussion/Ideas; Help) might speed the overall process.

Most of us should be able to make ofp missions 'playable' in ArmA, although with bugs. When the more talented, or scriptingly gifted (zomg), people would only concentrate on finishing this base work it´d be a matter of weeks to convert a whole campaign - in the best case of course

Yeah thanx appreciate it! Probably just a bit to early still. just spent over an hr researching the user missions thread in OFP forumns hopin to stumble onto somthing compatible, unfortunately no luck or just dl's way out dated

Need a lil help i went an unpbo the pathfinder mission in an attempt to transfer it to CWR an maybe even to MP just for somthing to play but I'm very inexperienced at this stuff. Funny thing is i know i did it with Battlefields a while back an even for chits n giggle copied right onto the desert floor between Cayo an Arcadia. But not sure what i'm doin wrong now any advice thanx. That Pathfinder would make a SWEET MP mission!!!

After OFP's demo was released there appeared some user missions (made only with text editors because the demo didn't have mission editor). They should be playable with CWR... if we could find them somewhere in the net...

Sniper Range - one of my favorite missions, slightly modified to make sure it runs with the CWR Demo.

You probably mean the "Original Demo Nostalgia Pack" from the Avon Lady. I have that package here, trying to make it work with CWR but all empty objects are placed on west/east side which in worst case makes CWR crash, especially if you want to edit them. Or they just don't show up in the mission at all.

It's possible to get them work and I'm trying hard, but to make them work and look as supposed you have to place all empty objects again.

Man your my new pal   I must've tried unpboing several times. Only to end up getting a CTD when clicking on new mp setup to run a map in CWR. Dunno if the CWR team is interested or not in this but i got a funny error with the Pathfinder name from the MP folder as the likely error. Tried everything i can from this point on to get where i can host my own MP missions only to get repeat CTDs      I'm currently in the process of doin a complete reinstall of ArmA   As I reinstalled CWR an the same thing happends even after i deleted all maps that i tried to convert. Not sure why it keeps happening even after uninstall an deletion of maps an why I'm doin fresh ArmA reinstall.

I think I mentioned at least twice now that original OFP missions mostly won't run "out of the box" with CWR. Most of them needs atleast a little bit of work to make them run with no problems.

Even the original missions from the OFP Demos took me several hours to make them at least work as they were intented to, especially Ambush.

The only reason I could think of causing your problem might be that the mission is stored somewhere in the MP mission cache.

Oops too late  Just finished reinstall. You'd think after a yr of ArmA I'd know what i'm doing..least i try to look that way  Just missed out on OFP online aint missing this one. But I'll check the MP Cache again to make sure thanx.

Got some maj issues here with trying to do this all trying to host a "new" MP causes an error an the game to close. Also these missions u guys are converting, are you putting them into your ArmA MP missions an or Missions folders to play? Just so i cover everything an don't wanna screw anything esle up. SP appears to run normal but aint adding anything til i figure out what i'm screwing up

These all SP missions I take it 8) Could'nt get Pathfinder to run thank due to missing content(Cobra) I think. Somewhere along the way screwed my pc all up an can't start a new host (map) session as i get an error related to the Pathfinder an i believe it was a description error or somthing, but goes back to desk top MP only, reinstalled everything  But then again my PC needed it. Good to see the missions startin to come in, "Defender" mission ran without a hitch, btw.

Got that too thought maybe it was the Cobra in Pathfinder but remember seeing that now. Defender, an the Sniper one both worked for me.

you are right , sorry for that , i forgot to remove the required addons after saving the missions while using mods , the mission turning the tide works well though

Been working on a MP mission all day. Gonna be my first ever for ArmA(due to lack of MP coops for CWR), if i can figure how to get the win lose conditions to work, an find out how to submit post links for dl.
