O no! Another great addon that requires queens gambit.. Argh must get round to buying it just to play with these amazing looking weapons!!! lovely work mate once again!

how can i give those weapons to AI? its boring if only the player has a different and cooler weapon

You got 2 options how to do :

1. Where u choosing soldier or units theres a line , where u can write the weapon , what do u want .

2. when u are ingame , and u leader of squad you can give them a order to take those weapons from ammo crate .

Use the addWeapon and addMagazine commands. The weapon and magazine classnames were posted on the last page. smile_o.gif Don't forget to remove their current weapons using the removeAllWeapons command.

Here's binarized and signed versions of Aks and Pistol pack

changes:

- some tweaked and new recoils - by Q1184

- new Aks74u sound + new BS-1 GL sound

- new NMaps in pistol pack

I tried your pistols also and I think the guns have to much bass. You wrote in your other thread that you might update it to pack 2.0. If you do upgrade can you please also correct the way the soldiers grip the glock17? The glock is way to high up.

With aimpoint optic and riffle grenades maybe in Aks pack 1.5 .

About that Pistol pack , i will check those sounds and Glock 17 , i will be fixed in 2.0 . Thx for feedback wink_o.gif

i would personally like to see a more extensive AK family of rifles pack, rather than a rifle which exists in a country where only 200 woodsmen and women live. Yep, i'm dissing the finns, alright biggrin_o.gif .

I will think about those some animations ,but right now no ,

i giving to myself a little break (xmas) and playing new games GoW , Crysis and Kane and Lynch , btw i hate COD4 tounge2.gif

I noticed that the AK47, AKM, RK95 (and others?) seem to always get a 1 shot kill no matter where I hit them. Could you please look into this, as well as what I pointed out in previous post(s)? These AKs look great and go very well with terrorists, guerillas and the like, but the damage could be a problem and make things harder. I just noticed it while testing them on some civvies (they make good target practice tounge2.gif ). Even a shot in the arm from over 100m seems to be a 1 shot kill.

The recoil on AK47s should be higher than on the '74s right? They seem about the same right now.

Damn recoils, one day they seem too strong, you "fix" them, and when you look at them a couple days later they are too weak nener.gif Anyway, a new recoil is ready and awaiting the next release. About damage: I spent a whole night and found the correct airFriction for 7.62 ammo, but the downside of the correct trajectory is that it looses way too much "hit" over distance. I wanted AK ammo to retain more "punch" at longer distances as compared to 5.45 and 5.56 ammo(about 1.2-1.5 times more energy), and the only way was to crank up it's initial "hit" value, making it 100% deadly out to 170-200 meters. Blame Arma for poor damage modelling. It's the same story as with BIS 7.62 and 12.7 ammo, but to a lesser degree of course.

Any chance you can reduce it slightly so that leg and arm shots are not as lethal? I understand that it should do more damage than 5.56 rounds, but it seems to be too much right now. No chance of escaping with only an injury under 200m. Makes missions against guys equipped with these harder. And it makes these AKs too effective IMO.

Yeah, I can reduce it, but only slightly, otherwise there'll be a stupid situation when 5.56 has more hit then 7.62x39 after a certain distance (due to a better BC).

BTW RH correct term for your RK95 would be Sako M/92 since it does have skins for civilian version of RK95 (fixed stock and civ like bolt) wink_o.gif Though I can't say where you could find high res pictures of military rifle rofl.gif

No, just wanted to make a point. smile_o.gif Alot of people forget that AK must not be 7.62. I have seen alot of discussions on these forums when peolpe want more punch, recoil, bang and so on from an AK74 because they think its an AK47.

I'm not saying that you dont know the difference, but you did write that you wanted "AK ammo" to have more punch than "5.45" (and thats also AK ammo). If I were a robot my logic wouldnt compute biggrin_o.gif
