Goldline 0 Posted November 24, 2007 On the official ArmA2 website its saying that its coming 2008 - > Do they mean in january ?
NeMeSiS 11 Posted November 24, 2007 Do they mean in january ? Thats highly unlikely, they mean *anywhere* in 2008, and remember that releasedates are always guesstimates, it might as well be October 2011.
mrj-fin 0 Posted November 25, 2007 I wont such care when that game is gonna to be release if it wont be in the level of complishment. If it will last over 3 years do it at least I hope to see final Game 2 product as condition as I've wished in back of 2003 . Bugless, huge step forward from OFP in every aspect and with filled by dynamic realism features.

smellyjelly 0 Posted November 26, 2007 No, Arma was released early due to lack of funds.
stakex 0 Posted November 26, 2007 Well when ArmA was first announced it was suppose to be out in six months.... it came out a year and a half later and wasn't anywhere near finished. So... it stands to reason ArmA2 might not make it out in 2008. Personally, Id rather them take an extra six months to a year and work on some more gameplay enhancements. Lets face it... since OFP the gameplay hasn't really improved, and in fact some argue it has regressed. Most of the improvements to the game have come on the graphical side of thing, and two much wanted features have been cut for very questionable reasons. Im starting to wonder what else BIS is going to cut out of the game, and use the very lame excuse that "The AI won't work with it".

I think the point he was trying to make is that you cant claim its a lame excuse unless you have proven that its addable within reasonable limits.
