DodgyGeeza 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Hi, how do you get the voice over ip fucntion to work ?- I know that my microphone is working etc but my mate cannot seem to hear me - I can't hear him either. I dont know if it works on non-dedicated servers if you play on LAN Its quite buggy tho, and not used that much on public servers, mostly because ppl play music verry load or something. Its a shame. Jackal326 1172 Posted November 4, 2007 Your best bet is to get a 3rd-party application like TeamSpeak or Ventrilo. With the former you can host your own server, but if you decide to go with Ventrilo, you'll probably need to pay for a dedicated server (which is only worth while if you play with a squad on a regular basis). privatenoob 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Yea its a shame its not used more. I know from playing Red Orchestra that it really helps and inspires your team in playin.
