Hostilian 11 Posted October 22, 2007 Hi BIS/In the know Moderators, Any chance you could update your changelog for 1.09 to give us at least some idea of the planned changes for the patch. I can only see 3 fixes/changes on the Wiki. I am not asking for a release date - the usual suspects would pipe in with a predictable "When its done" (Ho ho). I (and I am sure many more) would just appreciate some more information (whether its finalised or not) on the changes forthcoming in 1.09. ie.. A changelog! So far, any information regarding the changes in 1.09 feels like its been drip fed to us... Possible? Many thanks, #C

Johnnie_Walker 0 Posted October 22, 2007 I think you should re-read it before posting. It does mean the patch will be released as a public beta (1.09 beta), after some time (feedback) it will be released again with any needed changes as 1.09 final. I haven't read anywhere 1.09 will be the last patch released for arma.
mattxr 9 Posted October 22, 2007 Quote[/b] ]Patch Plans We're preparing a patch for ARMA, which will hopefully be released in one or two months. Currently we plan to include the following fixes or improvements: Some AI detection fixes Fixed fog on DX 10 cards Fixed anti-cheat signature timeout Added some additional anti-cheat measures More reliable VON Fixed CTD when resuming from a save in large and/or script intensive missions Fixed spontaneous death while driving a motorcycle in MP Fixed AI soldier can't fire behind the sandbags Fixed compatibility problems caused by various copy protections uses The patch will be completely independent of Queens Gambit, which will be running on 1.08, and no release data for this patch is currently set, but we intend to first release it as public beta 1.09 before the final release will be made available. released in one or two months. ryankaplan 1 Posted October 22, 2007 I'm tearing my ass to get BIS to repair This Bug, but by the amount of votes it has received, it seems not even the community cares, let alone BI. Am i honestly the only one who wants to stab someone up when my game is practically paused for 20 seconds every time a player Joins in Progress?
Balschoiw 0 Posted October 22, 2007 Oh my... There are so many bugs-issues that are not going to be adressed even if a lot of Arma owners voted for them. Seing that the changelog is still the same as it was a while ago, I´m dropping my hopes already that we´ll get a working AI anytime with Arma. There´s already been posts that state that BIS is seeking solutions for Arma 2 on bugs and flaws that are in Arma 1. This tells me that patch support will be limited with Arma 1 and some of the most annoying bugs/flaws/gameplay issues will not be adressed with Arma 1.
