pmd 0 Posted September 12, 2007 tab works.................... most of the time! if you have an AI under your command then go into Command View (space bar twice) and right click the target with your mouse (you will get the mouse courser back) easy mission... untill AI decide to fire an AA missile up your ass when you least expect it! like after you destroy everything and your on your way home over the water

Dyfa 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I'm having trouble knowing which units to destroy in this mission. Which vehicles are part of the convoy? There is a bunch of Urals a T72 and two BMPs. Is it enough to destroy these? I'm having a hard time getting a lock on the Urals. I keep locking onto the T72s further north. Kind regards, d.
stegman 3 Posted November 7, 2007 Press the 'TAB' key to cycle through available targets. The 'right-click-like-in-OFP' method rarely works, if at all, in Armed Assault. I think you will lock onto the target that poses the greatest threat first, hence the T72 (you’d lock onto a shilka first if one was there). You do the same thing in tanks and planes. To attack a column of vehicles with an attack helicopter; Enable manual fire, Switch to FFARs, Change to first person view, Line your self up with the lead vehicle and approach it head on, Fire your rockets, slowly and controlled, just before you have the vehicle lined up with the little targeting dot.  Keep firing until you’ve passed the end vehicle. oh yeah, and shout "Die, you SLAg ba***rds, DIE!!"  I find this generally does the trick.. horrgakx 1 Posted December 20, 2007 I had a big problem with this mission as the first post says. It got to the stage where there was a T72, BMP2 and a Shilka along with a few troops that were "inert" in the town of Bagango. I overflew several times. Ended up leaving the chopper, jumping in the Shilka and driving around killing the others that way.

My gunner won't attack anything, and I can't apparently switch weapons in manual mode. The manual is a POS on this subject...
vapor24 0 Posted December 24, 2007 Heh, I walked back to the helipad to end the mission, but did get it done. Had one piece of armor left when I finally went down (the eject feature is unrealistic, but I do like it...). Just picked up an RPG and took care of that, then hiked back to town. Then finished the campaign without much drama.
