bigshot 64 Posted September 8, 2007 Is there anyway to know (before playing it) whether or not a 3rd party coop mission that you download supports the Join in Progress feature of Arma? Thanks

Maddmatt 1 Posted September 8, 2007 thats a server side setting in the Server Cfgpersistant=1 No, that's got nothing to do with JIP. You'll need to check in the readme or find out from the author of the mission, or just give it a try. Most missions should support it just fine as long as there is an open player slot. zyklone 1 Posted September 8, 2007 Nope. This is one of the most stupid things in ArmA, you can't disable JIP when you make a mission that doesn't support it. This is despite everyone saying it was needed when they began talking about JIP long before the game was released.
