Skaven 0 Posted August 26, 2007 Did anyone managed to merge textures with the new O2? I tried the .ptm file used in the previews version and it's not working... did anyone had the same problem? Maybe the new O2 needs a different coding?

Skaven 0 Posted August 26, 2007 Use the old O2 instead and your fine, just don't save the HIND with the new O2 or the old version won't open it no more, turn your msn on if you need help
Marxis 0 Posted August 26, 2007 so , you are going to merge textures in old Oxygen and then add effects (HDR maps , shadows...) in O2?
simba 0 Posted August 26, 2007 ^ that's it. once you have one big texture instead of several little once it's much easier to add normal maps,...

vipermaul 246 Posted September 22, 2007 How is this coming along? Any good news or bad news to discuss??
Panda-PL- 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Guys you can merge 2 or 4 textures into one in the UV editor now! Open it up, use "filter by main texture" to select first texture, then scale it by half. While scalling you can pick which point will be preserved - pick upper left corner. Select next texture, pick upper righht corner. Then you can add 2 more using lower corners and save. Merge the 4 textures in any program (including paint) and make a .paa. Just filter the faces to find the ones using old 4 textures one by one and make them use new texture. I find it quite simple.
