HWM 1st Release Addon Pack

Hi,

great units,weapons,vehicles etc......They are top quality.

I was wondering if you can help me, i guessed the animation name for the m113 ramp was 'ramp'

ie This animate ["ramp",1]

But i cannot figure out what the cargo hatch animation name is.

Would you be able to let me know please smile_o.gif

the animated selection name, for the cargo hatch is "cargo_hatch" so you can do the same for cargo hatch as for the ramp.

I hope that you have find a way to enter the M113 and get your head out from the cargo hatch, wink_o.gif . It's quite tricky (cause of the Geometry) but easy to do.

An lol yeh it is a bit tricky at first to get your head out the hatch but ive finally mastered it now hehe,i really like popping shots off at people from the hatch notworthy.gif

Hey Dan we are very happy you liked our M113.

We wish it wouldn't be so tricky to get in it , but this the true height of M113.

Soon you will see some other futures for it.

About the smokes keep in mind that the enemy is aware of your position.So even if he doesn't see you, he can shoot relative to your position.

This problem exist in the hole game, for example try to cover your self with BIS smoke and the AI will still see you-shoot you.

Off coarse if you think of it, this is happening with real players too.

For example if you spot a tank and they use their smoke dispatchers you will fire a round or two at his last known location...JUST IN CASE you are lacky.

Yeah, but I moved relativly far away(as much as the smoke screen allows) from my previous position. Is this another AI awareness thing like with the ultra hearing thing?

Well it is true that the AI has some super human abilities from time to time but I don't know if this is the same matter as ultra-hearing biggrin_o.gif .

The best way to describe the problem is that when an AI pinpoints you on the map then it is very difficult for them to lost focus.

As far as I know you may have 100 enemies around you which are ignoring you and all off the sudden they are are all starting to shoot you simultaneously.

The bad thing with it, is that my stealth missions are always a complete failure crazy_o.gifcrazy_o.gifcrazy_o.gif

G'day guys,

Not sure if this has been covered before (didn't read the earlier threads carefully)  but I've noticed that my G3 has gone a bit transparent! crazy_o.gif

Not sure if this was happening before - but just updated my 8800 drivers...have you guys seen this before?

***EDIT - just did some more testing - the G3 seems to go the most transparent when the sun shines directly on it - in shade you may not notice it properly wink_o.gif

yes we know of this issue and we have corrected it in our internal versions.

In our 2nd release you will find it corrected xmas_o.gifxmas_o.gif so hold the fort until then wink_o.gif

Is there any missions/campaigns coming in the near future? I'm dying to use these units/vehicles in a mission setting. I read something a while back regarding some but I cant remember if you hinted to a general release date.

Excellent addon by the way.

Well as XSparky said we are planning to a full new island campaign mod, so you will find all of our units there.

We also have some missions ready but unfortunately they are using units (mostly infantry) not released yet.

The current plan is to release 2-3 new vehicles and some variations

of M113 and Leo in our 2nd release.

After that in our 3rd release, we will give a complete HWM-HAC squad (not just retextured) in order to include some missions for MP with it.

If you want feel free to use the current units in any missions you built, just let us know in order to play them too crazy_o.gifcrazy_o.gif

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I have know idea how to make missions. If I did your addon would be the focus of what I would make. Hopefully someone will crank out a few SP missions using all you've released thus far.
