tools to edit paa in paintshoppro

What tool can I convert paa format files back and forth into other formats (so I can edit/create in paintshop pro)

TexView 2 doesn't save to any other format but .paa...... as I have just being trying to convert my squad logo from .paa to anything else... ie jpg, bmp etc icon_rolleyes.gif

TexView can save textures in .tga format:

- Load the texture

- Freom the menu select Save as...

- In the window type the .tga extension manually

As a paint shop pro user a noticed a few things:

The first version of Textview (made for OFP) decreased the pictures quality so it’s really a good thing Texview2 has been released.

Paint Shop Pro doesn’t support 32 bits .tga (only 24 bits).

Tga created under Paint Shop Pro XI are not readable by Texview2.

Drat! I'd assumed that paintshop would have suported them

by now. I only have version 5 (beta) after all (although I

mostly use Photoshop) smile_o.gif

Paint Shop Pro supports 32bit targa, that is 24bit targa plus 8bit alpha = 32bit.

Pleased to learn it.

Btw Paint Shop Pro VII's .tga files are readable by Texview (both versions), but not PSP IX's ones. It's odd.
