ASUS mainboard M2N-E SLI with onboard soundcard C-Media

sound someitis is very noisy like farting, nothing helpes , no alt/tab

only restart of game, since 1.07

anyone has farting sound ?

i searched this forum for other sound problems, but i found only chorus voice of reports, but this farting is loudest effect, so i hear nothing except it :/

oooo one things that helps, switch music options of game,and to change levels and than back to the game ?

This happens if you are close to a guy that issues orders or reports stuff as you actually hear him two times, one time via players ears, second time via the radio

This causes the chorus or echo effect.

Haven´t had any "farting" effect up to now, but I hope they put some effort into the sound-section as some things are not really full-grown like the object-sound-interaction and volumes of sound emitters.

trying different combinations of software/hardware and turning EAX on and off as well as updating OpenAL and maybe your sound card drivers

Goto your arma sound options and turn off hardware.

The other day i enabled EAX and HW acceleration under sound options while in game (MP) and i got some sound problems (static, scratch), i have an audigy2ZS, i had to disable these options and reboot my PC.

I think you used quite a bad example there vilas .

this happens to the sounds of tanks, APCs engines , and than i turn menu - music options, change some settings of volume, switch back to the game and all is OK, happened few times
